Well done Aamir! That movie has a theme and a strong social message. I do not write blogs on movies and in fact that (watching a movie) is one of the rare things I do. But frankly of all the movies I have seen (which many might argue is not a big number!) till date this is one that stands out and says, “All kids are special. each one of them needs help in some or the other way.”

It talks about the mental disorder in children that hinders their normal progress and it is something that people should look up on as a “help call” from the child who is suffering from it, rather than a distress call from the society saying “oh! your child is not up to the mark”. Heck! with society, they wont come to save your child.

Well the movie does capture many of the social perceptions prevalent in the society back home in India and I am sure it is some movies like this and people like us, who if act upon in spreading awareness and accept it as a fact if it is for our own children and help them, can clear the problem.

It is a must see from my side, although a word of caution, if you are a person who does not like sentimental stuff then keep off, that surely is not for you.
